Cafodd yr albym yma ei recordio yn stiwdio byd-enwog Monnow Valley yn Rockfield, Sir Fynwy. Dros y blynyddoedd, mae bandiau fel Led Zeppelin, Queen, Oasis, Stereophonics, Catatonia a Black Sabbath wedi cyfansoddi, ymarfer a recordio rhwng yr un muriau. Serch hyn, mae’n rhaid taw dyma’r tro cynta i synnau’r delyn, y ffidil a’r pibau ac alawon traddodiadol y Cymry gael eu clywed o fewn muriau’r stiwdio eiconig yma. Mae’r alaw ‘Arth Fawr’ wedi’i henwi ar ôl cytser o’r un enw, a chafodd ei chyfansoddi gan Jordan ar gyfer ffrind a ddangosodd y cytserau iddo tra ar draeth yn Llydaw.

We recorded this album at the world-famous Monnow Valley Studios in Rockfield, Monmouth. Over the years, artists such as Led Zeppelin, Queen, Oasis, Stereophonics, Catatonia and Black Sabbath have all composed, rehearsed and recorded here, but this may well be the first time that the harp, the fiddle and the pipes have been heard playing Welsh tunes within the walls of this iconic studio!
Arth Fawr is named after the constellation of the same name, and was written for a friend of Jordan’s who pointed out the constellations while on a beach in Brittany.
